Preview KVK's – "With an intention to fulfill the requirements of agricultural extension while keeping under consideration the geographical and social requirements of district Etawah, the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi sanctioned a Krishi Vigyan Kendra under the administrative control of Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology, Kanpur i December 2004. Agriculture, horticulture and animal husbandry are the main enterprise of the farmers of the district Etawah.
As per agro-climatic situation, this district falls under Central Plain area. The Centre is dedicated to ensure improved farm technologies and new researches to the farmers and farm-women through farmers' training programmes; front line demonstrations of oilseeds, pulses and other crops; field demonstrations etc. including other extension programmes."
