Leaves: Variable, 2-7.5 cm long and 1.3-4.5 cm wide, ovate or elliptic, acute or rounded at the apex, sometimes with reddish margins, glabrous. Flowers: Flowers pink, borne in threes in lax, axillary, pedunculate spikes, 2.5-12.5 cm long. Fruits: Globose, approximately 0.3 cm in diameter. Seeds: Yellowish-brown.
