अकरी (Vicia sativa)
Common Name : Common vetch Family : Fabaceae Habit : An annual herb. Stem : Decumbent-ascending, up to 60 cm tall. Leaves : Leaflets 3-8 pairs, 1.5 - 2.5 x 0.2 - 0.4 cm, linearlanceolate or oblong, mucronate, base obtuse. Flowers : Solitary or paired, axillary, purplish. Fruits : Pods 3 - 4.2 x 0.4 - 0.6 cm, narrowly oblong, beaked, pubescent. Seeds : 3-4 mm across, blackish.
