A Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean study (KUFOS) is a one of the autonomous public funded-institution established on 20th November 2010.KUFOS is the first fisheries in the University, with the greenery in the Panagad which is 12 Km from the Kochi City, along the NH-47.

KUFOS provides the high quality instructional programme in fisheries, ocean sciences and allied subjects. The University now has 75 acres of land in the headquarters at Panangad, 50 acres of land at Fisheries station, Puduveypu and 10 acres of land at Thiruvallom close Vizhinjam.

The academic excellence is intended to be attained by providing the graduate and post graduate teaching and research programmewhich helps you in emerging disciplines of fisheries science. With a perspective to meeting the necessity of state and national needs, we are presenting specific courses in the poor ranges in this way making experts and specialists.
