Today, around the world, people are starting to grow food in the most untraditional places and spaces. Urban farming has become the new frontier in farming. From simple community vegetable gardens to providing healthy food to consumers in the nearby areas, with smart technology, urban farming can go anywhere. In metropolitan cities, where sufficient space is a luxury, urban farming can be a boon for the citizens and common masses. Lately, health concerns have further gravitated the focus of citizens at large for food safety, healthy environment and aesthetic surroundings.

Urban Farming is the fastest growing industry within the farming industry with specific requirements not catered to by the normal farming shows. This leaves room for a show catering to this new group of farmers who grow their products in the middle of a city, on a balcony or a rooftop. SUFex द्वारा अप्रैल 5-6-7-8-9, 2023 तक मेस्से ग्लोबल पुणे लक्ष्मी लॉन, पुणे, महाराष्ट्र, भारत में स्मार्ट अर्बन फार्मिंग एक्सपो का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

आज, दुनिया भर में, लोग सबसे अपरंपरागत स्थानों और स्थानों में भोजन उगाना शुरू कर रहे हैं। शहरी खेती खेती की नई सीमा बन गई है। साधारण सामुदायिक सब्जी बागानों से लेकर आसपास के क्षेत्रों में उपभोक्ताओं को स्वस्थ भोजन उपलब्ध कराने तक, स्मार्ट तकनीक से शहरी खेती कहीं भी जा सकती है। महानगरों में, जहां पर्याप्त जगह एक विलासिता है, शहरी खेती नागरिकों और आम जनता के लिए एक वरदान हो सकती है। हाल ही में, स्वास्थ्य संबंधी चिंताओं ने खाद्य सुरक्षा, स्वस्थ पर्यावरण और सौंदर्य परिवेश के लिए बड़े पैमाने पर नागरिकों का ध्यान आकर्षित किया है।
